Question1:I can not program a new code after the number 1 does not give me the green light?
Answer1:You have to follow the directions specifically, once you change the master code to a code of your liking, then you use your new master code to create other family codes, if desired. This system works very well and I'm very pleased with it. The print on the instruction sheet is pretty small, but if you follow it directly, it should work.
Question2:I have 2 doors, is it possible to order 2 sets that could use the same key?
Answer2:You can't open different doors with the same key. Each product has a different key.
Question3:Is this door lock need any app, wireless or internet controlled?
Answer3:IXTECH Keyless door lock doesn’t need any app or wireless, it is working battery operated with keypad.
Question4:Can the mechanical lock be re-keyed to work with an existing house key?
Answer4:You cannot use the product with a different key other than the keys that come out of the box. But if you duplicate more than one from the same key, you can use them.
Question5:Can you turn off the auto lock feature?
Answer:5Yes, you can turn off automatic locking at any time. The user manual says how to do it.
Question6:My latch does not work with a left-hand door. Did I not get all the parts?
Answer6:The product is programmed in one direction during the production phase and placed in the box. If the user attaches the product to the door in the opposite direction when installing it, it must reset the product to recognize the door. There is a Reset button on the back of the product. Install the product on the door, press the reset key for 3 seconds and wait for the mechanism to determine the direction of the door. Please follow the instructions written on page 20 of the user manual respectively.
Question7:Does the door handle lock?
Answer:7Yes, It locks automatically after a certain period after you turn it off.
